Putting to Application (Synthesising your learning)
You are a cartographer (a map maker) who has to sketch a map showing directions from your home to your favourite food outlet in your neighbourhood.
There are two parts to this task:
- Sketch an aerial map on a sheet of paper
- Create a written navigation instructions from your home yo your favourite food outlet in your neighbourhood. Complete it on a separate sheet of paper
Your Aerial Map must contain:
- Title of Map
- Your Point of Interest
- Compass Directions
- Symbols & Legends
- Scale
- Colour Differentiation
Your Written Navigation Instructions must contain:
- Title of Map
- Bearings and Directions
- Distance
- Landmarks
Submit your work individually by 13 Sept 2013
